Baseball Recap: Kiel Raiders vs. Port Washington Pirates
Kiel proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Port Washington Pirates 5-3. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Aaron Stephany made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
Stephany wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brady Kienbaum, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
