Soccer Recap: Galileo Comes Up Short

Galileo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Rappahannock County. If Galileo were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to Rappahannock County when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. Rappahannock County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Galileo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
