After a string of three wins, Unicoi County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 64-46 bruising from the Greeneville Greene Devils. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greene Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Unicoi County's loss dropped their record down to 21-13. As for Greeneville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-11 record this season.

Unicoi County is taking a road trip to take on Fulton on Monday. Unicoi County has given up an average of 58.6 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Greeneville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carter on Monday. One thing working in Carter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 games.
