Basketball Recap: North Stokes Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

North Stokes came into Friday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Elkin Buckin' Elks by a score of 41-34 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-37 back in December of 2024.

North Stokes' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-5. As for Elkin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

North Stokes will take on Starmount at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkin, they will be playing at home against East Wilkes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
