Triad turns things around after tough road loss

Recap: Triad Cardinals vs. West Jefferson Roughriders
There's no place like home for the Triad Cardinals, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against West Jefferson on Friday as Triad made off with a 46-22 victory. With Triad ahead 31-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Several Roughriders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braxton Stone, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds. Nick Fitzpatrick was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Triad's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for West Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triad will take on West Liberty-Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Jefferson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fairbanks at 7:30 p.m.
