Volleyball Recap: Tessa Arnott Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

Dunlap won the last time they faced Decatur Eisenhower and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Dunlap's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tessa Arnott, who had eight kills and five aces. That's the most aces Arnott has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Holmes, who had 14 assists and four aces.

They weren't the only good server: Dunlap was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Dunlap's record now sits at 11-3. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Dunlap wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Richwoods on the 13th. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Routt Catholic on the 13th.
