Baseball Recap: North Babylon Sets Scoring Season-High Against Half Hollow Hills East

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Babylon). Everything went their way against the Half Hollow Hills East RedHawks on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-5 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jake Walsh was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since April 3rd. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Camier, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: North Babylon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive contests.

North Babylon's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Half Hollow Hills East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

North Babylon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the RedHawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
