Volleyball Recap: Saegertown Panthers vs. Warren Dragons

After flying high against Cambridge Springs last Thursday, Saegertown came back down to earth. The Saegertown Panthers fell 2-0 to the Warren Dragons on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

While Saegertown ultimately came up short, they really made Warren work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-16.

Warren found their leader in underclassman Malysia Sorensen, who had 12 digs.

Saegertown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Warren, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 23 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 27-3-3 record this season.

Saegertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Warren has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fort LeBoeuf on the 19th.
