Basketball Game Preview: Dickson Academy Falcons vs. Boyd Christian Broncos

Dickson Academy is 0-9 against Boyd Christian since January of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dickson Academy Falcons will square off against the Boyd Christian Broncos at 6:00 p.m. Dickson Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Dickson Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were beaten by Boyd Christian 81-30 last Saturday. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-20.

Boyd Christian found their leader in sophomore Brooke Kesey, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Kesey's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Bechtel, who went 9 of 13 en route to 23 points.

Boyd Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Dickson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Boyd Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-11.
