Louisville managed to keep up with Johnson County Central until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Louisville was beaten by Johnson County Central 42-15. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brownell Talbot). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Mead 66-14. Brownell Talbot has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 36 points or more this season.

Louisville's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Brownell Talbot, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
