North Forney had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Sachse Mustangs to the tune of 42-7 on Friday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.
North Forney had a senior duo take command as Andikan Asuquo rushed for 197 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries and Legend Bey rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Those 197 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Asuquo.
North Forney was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 279 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 215 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
North Forney's record now sits at 10-1. As for Sachse, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
