Santiago has gone 8-1 against Norco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Sharks will venture away from home to take on the Cougars at 5:45 p.m. Santiago will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Santiago made easy work of King and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Santiago took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Elijah Tajo, who had seven digs and two aces.

Tajo wasn't the only good server: Santiago was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Norco's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Roosevelt.

Norco was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Roosevelt work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 24-26, 27-25, 25-18.

Santiago's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Norco, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Santiago took their win against Norco in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
