Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame was the 11-1 winner over Rayne when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers lost 11-1 to the Wolves on Saturday. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Rayne, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will face off against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Rayne, they will host Comeaux at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
