Middleton is 6-1 against Brandon since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Middleton and six for Brandon.

On Friday, Middleton came up short against Newsome and fell 35-26.

Despite their loss, Middleton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jovaughn Dock, who rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 18 yards and one TD, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Teagan Amos-Brooks, who rushed for 65 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Brandon played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Jesuit and fell 57-7. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-0.

Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Brandon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Middleton was able to grind out a solid win over Brandon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 20-8. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
