Volleyball Recap: West Fork's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

West Fork had won six straight games and Addison Lewis did her part to make it seven on Friday. The Gators put the hurt on the Crosby Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Lewis, who had 16 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 22 games she's played.

West Fork never let Crosby on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-23.

West Fork's win bumped their record up to 33-4. As for Crosby, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-20.

Coincidentally, West Fork and Crosby will both be playing Dayton the next time they take the court. The Cougars will host the Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Gators will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
