Volleyball Recap: Newton County Has No Trouble Against Lafayette

Newton County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lafayette Commodores. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Newton County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lafayette, they moved to 1-2 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Newton County will challenge Neshoba Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette, they will venture away from home to square off against Lewisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
