Basketball Recap: La Sierra Takes a Loss

La Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Patriot Warriors. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

La Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Patriot, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Sierra will challenge Norte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norte Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully La Sierra likes a good challenge. As for Patriot, they will head out on the road to take on Jurupa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
