Softball Recap: San Ramon Valley Wolves vs. Dougherty Valley Wildcats
San Ramon Valley extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-6-2 in the process. They blew past the Dougherty Valley Wildcats 12-2. Considering the Wolves have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lila McLeod looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Addie Layous was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.
