Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Prep had taken Oxford down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Fighting Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Notre Dame Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Oxford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2-1.

Notre Dame Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Clarkston on the 26th. As for Oxford, they will be playing at home against Lapeer East at 7:00 p.m. on September 3.
