Softball Recap: Hardin-Jefferson Takes a Loss

Hardin-Jefferson lost against Livingston back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks lost 9-1 to the Lions.

Hardin-Jefferson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nora Mcintosh, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Hardin-Jefferson's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Hardin-Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Livingston, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Shepherd at 6:00 p.m. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
