The Hillcrest Patriots will square off against the Paul W. Bryant Stampede at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hillcrest is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 31 points back in September, they were much more limited against Northside two weeks ago. They received a blow as they fell 27-8 to the Rams.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Paul W. Bryant, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Central 22-21.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Paul W. Bryant, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Hillcrest took their win against Paul W. Bryant in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 38-12 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Stampede have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
