Basketball Recap: Sheridan's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Sheridan can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past the Delphian Dragons with points to spare, taking the game 59-41. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their 26-point performance the game before.

Sheridan's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Delphian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Sheridan will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delphian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Santiam at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
