Basketball Recap: Palisade Comes Up Short

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Palisade was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a hard 44-26 fall against the Fruita Monument Wildcats. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Palisade now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Fruita Monument, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Palisade will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glenwood Springs at 7:30 p.m. As for Fruita Monument, they will face off against Montrose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fruita Monument comes in on three and Montrose on four.
