Softball Recap: Silverton Comes Up Short

If Silverton was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Central on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Foxes came up short against the McNary Celtics on Friday, falling 17-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Foxes have suffered since April 7th.

Silverton's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for McNary, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Coming up, Silverton will venture away from home to face off against Corvallis at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McNary, they will welcome South Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
