Soccer Recap: Oak Lawn Takes a Loss

If Oak Lawn was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Tinley Park on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Lemont Lemont HS on Saturday. One thing that didn't help Oak Lawn's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Sean Conroy.

Oak Lawn's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2-2. As for Lemont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-1.

Oak Lawn has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Kennedy on the 22nd. As for Lemont, they will welcome Oak Forest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
