Bainbridge came tearing into Tuesday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Port Angeles Roughriders out 41-38. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Roughriders are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bainbridge pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Port Angeles, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
