Baseball Recap: Manheim Central Takes a Loss

Manheim Central was the 5-2 winner over Donegal when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Barons fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-3 on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Barons have lost by just one run.

Tanner Travitz was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Manheim Central's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 12-8. As for Donegal, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Manheim Central nor Donegal have any future games scheduled.
