While Stevens didn't have the best season last year (they finished 18-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bandera BULLDOGS on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the BULLDOGS: they've now won four in a row.

Kaliyah Williams paced Stevens' offense, picking up nine kills. Williams got some help from Gabrielle Ramon and her 21 assists.

Stevens' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Bandera, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Stevens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Stockdale on the 21st. As for Bandera, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lytle on the 21st.
