Basketball Recap: Pope John Paul II Comes Up Short

Pope John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 34-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Father Ryan Irish. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pope John Paul II's record now sits at 11-15. As for Father Ryan, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Pope John Paul II will head out to square off against Brentwood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Father Ryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
