Basketball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta's tournament run continued when they took on Kenai Central on Thursday. The Delta Huskies took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kenai Central Kardinals. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Kenai Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Delta and Seward will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Seward will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Delta surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kenai Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kodiak at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
