Volleyball Recap: Logan Wins Going Away Against Bear River

Logan had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bear River on Tuesday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

Aidan Kent paced Logan's offense, picking up six kills. Kent got some help from Josh Merrill and his 14 assists. Davis Whiting controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Bear River, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Logan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mountain Crest on the 10th. As for Bear River, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against East on the 9th.
