Clemens came into Friday's game looking for another win against Donna, but Sonya Perez wouldn't allow it. The Redskins walked away with a 64-52 victory over the Buffaloes on Friday for which the team can thank Perez, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 19 boards. She is becoming a predictor of Donna's success: when she posts at least eight rebounds the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when she doesn't).

Another player making a difference was Mia Moreno, who posted five points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Donna is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Clemens, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Donna will be playing at home against Economedes at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clemens, they are taking a road trip to face off against Incarnate Word at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffaloes are facing the Shamrocks at the right time seeing as the Shamrocks are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
