Soccer Recap: Fairland Comes Up Short

Fairland managed to keep up with Ironton until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Dragons came up short against the Fighting Tigers, falling 5-1. Fairland just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Fairland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ironton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Fairland will venture away from home to square off against St. Joseph Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ironton, they will welcome Portsmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
