Berean Christian extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 5-0. They came out on top against the College Park Falcons by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Berean Christian was led to victory by Amber Larner and Anna McCombe. Larner had 49 digs, while McCombe had 11 digs and two aces. Larner is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 23 every time she's taken the court this season. Grace Geisler was another key player, getting 13 digs.

As for College Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, College Park still got an impressive performance from Mina Dinh, who had 26 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, Dinh is now averaging an impressive 11.4 digs per game. Leah Sobol also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Berean Christian will face off against rival Las Lomas at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, College Park is set to take on their familiar foe Acalanes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
