Warrensburg-Latham had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Meridian Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

While Warrensburg-Latham won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24.

Allison Cushing paced Warrensburg-Latham's offense, picking up five kills. Cushing got some help from Audrey Billingsley and her eight assists. Emma Whightsil controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Warrensburg-Latham's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Meridian, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14.

Warrensburg-Latham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pana on the 7th. As for Meridian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against MacArthur on the 6th.
