Scott City and Leopold are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Rams will take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Scott City got the win against Sikeston by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

While Scott City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Leopold made easy work of Zalma on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Leopold took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-6.

Leopold's victory bumped their record up to 17-1-2. As for Scott City, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Scott City couldn't quite get it done against Leopold when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
