Soccer Recap: Larkin Comes Up Short

Larkin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dundee-Crown Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Larkin of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Larkin's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Dundee-Crown, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Larkin will square off against Glenbard South at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dundee-Crown, they will take on Hononegah at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Dundee-Crown will need to watch out since Hononegah have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
