Volleyball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Foothill lost against Shasta back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Foothill started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-21.

Foothill now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Shasta, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coincidentally, Foothill and Shasta will both be playing Oroville the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Tigers at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
