University Prep won the last time they faced McQuaid Jesuit and things went their way on Friday too. The Griffins strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Griffins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Knights are ranked 145th).

The win made it two in a row for University Prep and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points in those games. As for McQuaid Jesuit, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Aquinas Institute at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, McQuaid Jesuit will face off against rival Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
