Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hawks blew the Black Knights out of the water with a 45-6 final score. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Black Knights are ranked 222nd) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Jayde Beasley, who rushed for 45 yards and three touchdowns. CJ Cardona was in the mix as well, providing Mill Creek with two TDs.

Meanwhile, Dacula made easy work of Discovery on Friday and carried off a 42-18 win. The Falcons pushed the score to 35-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Titans cut but never quite recovered from.

Mill Creek better keep an eye on Garrison G Cantrell. He was instrumental in Dacula's win, throwing for 110 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 30 yards and one score. Another rusher making a difference was Frankie Onumah, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dacula was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 217 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 217 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Mill Creek has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games. As for Dacula, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Mill Creek against Dacula in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 54-24 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Falcons' Isaac Kareem-Maman, who picked up 171 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
