Baseball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Colfax's offense. They came up short against the Warden Cougars on Saturday, falling 17-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Warden, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Coming up, Colfax will challenge Freeman at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Warden, they will head out on the road to square off against Cle Elum-Roslyn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
