Basketball Recap: Platteview Trojans vs. Mount Michael Benedictine Knights
Platteview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Despite the loss, Platteview still got an impressive performance from Owen Trofholz, who shot 50% from the field en route to 23 points and eight boards.
