Soccer Recap: Woods Cross Takes a Loss

Woods Cross was the 1-1 winner over Mountain Crest when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Mustangs on Thursday. Woods Cross have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woods Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mountain Crest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woods Cross will challenge Skyridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mountain Crest, they will venture away from home to take on Stansbury at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Stansbury's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Mountain Crest's offense will have their work cut out for them.
