After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keystone, Medina Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 79-66 win over the Black River Pirates. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Black River lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hunter Varney, who posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave Varney a new career-high. Josh Stuart was another key player, putting up 23 points.

The victory snapped Medina Christian Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-11 record. As for Black River, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Medina Christian Academy and Brooklyn will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Medina Christian Academy is facing Brooklyn at the right time seeing as Brooklyn is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Black River, they will challenge Clearview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
