Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss

Lighthouse Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Christian Community Colts, falling 72-2. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-0.

Autumn Ray was nothing short of spectacular for Christian Community: she almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave Ray a new career-high in steals. M.J. Dodd was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine assists and four steals.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Christian Community, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Lighthouse Christian and South Haven Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Community, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lancaster Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
