It's playoff time, and Tamalpais had no trouble coming through when it counted. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks who were credited with the win on Saturday. The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Terra Linda Trojans's one. This was a revenge game for the Red Tailed Hawks: when they faced off against the Trojans back in January, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Tamalpais, bringing their record for this year to 12-6. As for Terra Linda, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Tamalpais will head out to face off against Liberty Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Terra Linda, they will head out on the road to take on Hillsdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terra Linda's last seven games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
