Soccer Game Preview: Wauwatosa East vs. Brookfield Central + Official Tickets

The Wauwatosa East Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Brookfield Central Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wauwatosa East's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against University School of Milwaukee by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Wauwatosa East's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while University School of Milwaukee are ranked 92nd).

Olin Andersen and Luke Gendrich scored both of Wauwatosa East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Brookfield Central made sure to put some goals up on the board against Oconomowoc on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Raccoons. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Brookfield Central's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Wauwatosa East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those 11 contests. As for Brookfield Central, their record is now 7-3-5.
