Volleyball Recap: Weimar Wildcats vs. Burton Panthers
Weimar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Burton Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Friday.
Paige Fritsch was a one-woman wrecking crew For Burton. as she had 16 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Fritsch a new career-high.
Weimar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Burton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
