Basketball Recap: Stanton County's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stanton County extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Avery Scott. The Stanton County Trojans came out on top against the Syracuse Bulldogs by a score of 28-19 on Monday thanks in part to Scott, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 rebounds and nine blocks. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kynzi Fehringer, who posted eight points and ten boards. She has become a key player for Stanton County: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 1-3 otherwise.

Stanton County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Syracuse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Stanton County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 51-33 loss against Wichita County on the 23rd. Syracuse has also already played their next game, a 52-19 win against Sublette on the 23rd.
