Football Recap: Valley City Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Valley City's offense. They were dealt a 28-0 defeat at the hands of the Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 32 points in the game before, the Hi-Liners' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Valley City's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hillsboro/Central Valley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Valley City will take on Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm on Friday. Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm's defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so Valley City's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hillsboro/Central Valley, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Sargent County on Friday.
